Looking for a place to eat healthy and organic meals in Baguio City? Here’s one for you… Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio.
I’ve been to this place twice already and I still get excited everytime I visit and dine here. Since Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio serves organic meals, there is no way that I will feel guilty or worried about what I will order and eat.
Let me give you a little background about Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio…
Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio was conceptualized in 2009 to add a destination for Baguio. It is an oasis right in the “City of Pines” where NATURE, CULTURE, ARTS and CUISINE are presented for the pleasure of its guests. At Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio, guests can listen to chirping birds, watch the fog come and go, breathe the cool fresh air, learn the culture of Cordilleras, feed the animals, create art through paintingand please each guest’s appetite with fine cuisine.
We had a quick tour of the place and were really impressed how this place turns out to be as useful and productive now. The entire garden is organic. Its animals are all vegetarians and are only fed with natural grains and organic vegetables.
The plants on the other hand, are fed with Vermi-casts and minerals, and treated with indigenous Micro-Organisms. Since Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio practices organic farming. No pesticides and chemicals are being used by the farm.
Another thing that I love about Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio is that it preseves the environment by recycling water and practicing ZERO-Waste Management. 🙂
Now let us talk about food. Mother’s Garden And Cafe Baguio offers different selections of organic meals which most ingredients were freshly harvested from its own organic farm. Here are some of the meals that we have tried during our visit.
For appetizers, we were served with Mother’s Garden Salad and Mexican Nachos.
For our main course, we were served with Crispy Adobo, Tuscan Chicken with Penne Pesto, Pinaputok Na Bangus, Shwineshnitzel With Neapolitana, Iloilo’s Inasal Na Manok, Inihaw Na Liempo.
For desserts, here’s what we had…
For refreshments, you can choose from their hot and cold drinks.
