Woot! Look at that bowl of goodness! I admit, I LOVEEEE RAMEN. And that love started with my first ramen bowl at Ippudo. I never get used to it, since they always come up with something new for their regular and limited edition ramen selections which is good because there’s always something to look forward to.
The limited edition Gyokai Tonkotsu Ramen is Ippudo’s signature blend of tonkotsu and creamy chicken broth with a fusion of flavorful bonito and shoyu, seasoned with yuzukosyo pepper for a slight kick. It is served with thick wavy noodles topped with bamboo shoots, half tamago, nori and slices of chasyu.
I think that every ramen lover should try the Ippudo Philippines’ limited edition Gyokai Tonkotsu Ramen. It has that distinct taste of smoked fished blended on a very flavorful taste of creamy chicken broth. It is superb! And since I am a bit of a spicy monster and adventurous when it comes to taste, I put some chili powder and crushed sesame seeds to my ramen and I even liked it more! I consumed my bowl of ramen until the last drop of broth hahaha!
