The realme 3 boasts a octa-core 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P60 processor which consumes significantly less power by as much as 15 percent than other phones’ 12nm process chips— making realme 3 the strongest segment entrant today. For faster performance, the phone is supported with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Taking phone design up a notch is the realme 3’s gradient unibody design, which brings the best tactile and visual experience.
It is also equipped with a multi-core and multi-threaded AI processing unit, the highest terminal AI processing performance in this segment.
The phone’s cameras feature improved hardware configuration with a 13MP front camera and a 13MP main camera + 2MP secondary camera rear duo. The cameras also have two firsts in its price segment, Nightscape mode optimizes camera performance in low-lit environments while the Chroma Boost feature uses AI technology to identify objects, optimize photos and improve the image’s overall dynamic range.

To concretize its claim of supreme performance, Realme 3 partnered with Mobile Legends. As the official epic smartphone sponsor of the third season of Mobile Legends Professional League, realme 3 is expected to change the expectations of a budget and midrange smartphone in terms of optimal gaming performance.
Realme 3 users will also get a slice of pie right out of the box. Realme 3 is equipped with the latest ColorOS 6.0 which provides better user interface through the Google Stock Android experience.
Designed for modern-day Filipino lifestyle
Realme is focused on continuously innovating the mobile phone aesthetic and tactile experience. In order to achieve a better grip and visual integration, the realme 3 deviates from the “sandwich” format of screen-middle frame-back cover. It instead utilizes an 3D gradient unibody for better ergonomics and implementation.
To give young customers the best visual experience, the realme 3 uses gradient color matching in its two color variants: Dynamic Black and Radiant Blue. The Dynamic Black model has a two-toned black-blue scheme that involves an intricate spraying process to achieve a natural gradient. The addition of pearl powder gives the back cover a more colorful look and greater depth. The Radiant Blue variant has a mirror effect produced by the NCVM non-conductive plating process which vaporizes a silver reflective layer on to the back cover. It is then sprayed over with a translucent blue-green ink to create a graduated color effect.
Complementing the phone’s aesthetic are the iconic realme cases. Two variants will be available in the country: Blue Diamond and Grey which are priced at PHP 499 and PHP 399, respectively.
To provide users with a more immersive display experience, the realme 3 uses a dewdrop design that aligns the front camera as well as the light and distance sensors. This gives the phone a high screen ratio of 88.3 percent, providing users a bigger display for even more enjoyable web navigation, data checking, and image browsing and video streaming. It also adopts a borderless user interface design, by segmenting using space instead of dividing lines to reduce visual splitting, making the entire UI feel purer and more efficient.
Nightscape and Chroma Boost for professional-grade photo shooting
The realme 3 has a rear dual camera of 13MP + 2MP with an f/1.8 large aperture. The cameras feature improved photo resolution, dynamic range and color performance. The AI-scene recognition technology automatically selects an appropriate exposure scheme while the slo-mo mode supports 90fps/720p video shooting.
realme 3 also features a Nightscape Mode, the only phone in its segment to have such. Using AI technology, multi-frame synthesis and anti-shake algorithms, Nightscape Mode optimizes the cameras’ performance in extremely dark conditions. It reveals more details by adjusting highlights and dark portions of the exposure. It also effectively controls noise to enhance the overall clarity of the photo.
Another realme 3 feature that is unique in its segment is the Chroma Boost mode, which uses AI technology to identify and optimize scenes, increase photo overall dynamic range, reveal richer details in highlights and shadows, and give a more balanced exposure. The phone uses realme’s selfie algorithm to accurately retouch skin, eye, hair and other details using 296 facial recognition points.
Pricing and availability
The realme 3 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage priced at P6,990 will be exclusively available online through shopping platform Shopee. Realme fans can get their own realme 3 at a marked-down price of PHP 6,290 by using exclusive vouchers during Shopee’s March 25 flash sale.
“Realme has been a huge hit among our Filipino users since they launched their official store on Shopee Mall in January. Its offline variants – 3GB RAM and 64GB storage; 4GB RAM and 64GB storage are priced at PHP 7,990 and PHP 9,990, respectively. These are available through local distributors and kiosks nationwide starting April 6. Customers may pre-order the offline variants from March 20 to April 5 with a minimum deposit of PHP 500. Those who pre-ordered are going to receive freebies worth PHP 1,299.
