Meet the newest batch of Pharmaton’s Life Changers…
Culinary educator and Pharmaton Life Changer Chef Rob Pengson shares his secret to sustaining his energy to create positive impact to the lives of people around him. “For me, sincerity and commitment should be your two most important values in life if you intend to change the lives of other people for the better,” he says. “You have to be sincere in helping out and reaching out. You have to be committed in what you do because you can’t just stop it when you feel exhausted knowing that you can change so many lives.”
“For people with a clear vision of what they really aim to achieve, focus your energy more into nurturing your passion so you can become catalysts of positive change, and eventually inspire others to adopt the same mindset,” shares Rags2Riches founder and Pharmaton Life Changer Reese Fernandez-Ruiz.
“Some of the things that really energize me are instances when, for example, one of our kids get awarded with educational scholarship for being an exceptional athlete. It gives me the motivation to continue what I’m doing, to continue changing the lives of other children, and spread the love and appreciation for the game of football.” says Futkal founder Peter “Futkalero Pedro” Amores
In such a very challenging world, one needs to be on top of things in order to succeed and make people’s lives better. This is the virtue that Pharmaton intends to champion, as it celebrates the Filipinos’ inner resolve to become a bigger part of a better world through another ground breaking initiative: Life Changers’ Challenge: Success in Numbers
Pharmaton’s Life Changers’ Challenge: Success in Numbers is an online, video-driven nationwide competition that aims to search for exceptional Filipinos who cause positive change to the world. The Life Changers’ Challenge is open to social entrepreneurs, advocates, and other relevant groups of people who spearhead high-impact projects and aim to see their visions come to life.

To encourage engagement and discourse, we will invite the public to share their insights and suggestions on any of the projects via Facebook. Those who have suggestions must use #LifeChangers and #PharmatonPH for tracking purposes.
The contestants may revise their concept as per the suggestions which they feel will make their project more impactful, interesting, or feasible.
