New Attraction: SandBox Outdoor Archery Range

Another cool attraction just opened recently inside SandBox at Alviera Porac, Pampanga which is something to look forward to when you visit this adventure park.

SandBox at Alviera has sealed partnership with Oculus Archery to bring a different kind of adventure and fun with bows and arrows for family, colleagues and friends.

“Our Mission is to erase the notion that archery is an elite sport. Anyone can enjoy it from kids to adults as long as they have the upper body strength to pull the string and concentrate on their target.” said Krizia Chu-Tranquilino, General manager of Oculus Archery.

Archery helps clear the mind and allows people to decompress when under stress. For kids, archery will train their minds to focus.

Everyone from 7 years old and above can avail different packages of SandBox Outdoor Archery Range to experience and learn. Packages includes basic coaching(conducted by expert archers), bow and arrows, quiver, chest and arm guards plus one balloon target. See the picture below for the rates.

To make the activity more fun and interesting, various novelty targets are made available such as famous cartoon villains. Kids and kid-at-heart will definitely enjoy.

Ofcourse, I wouldn’t miss the chance to try out SandBox Outdoor Archery. Another accomplished task on my bucketlist. It was really a rewarding experience for me even though I was not able to hit the bullseye. I am happy enough to hit the target paper. hahahaha! 🙂

The Aerial Walk

Aerial walk is an obstacle course with horizontal and verticle elements. It is also been expanded from 17 activities to 28 activities with the addition of new tunnels, loops, beams, nets and ziplines. This will definitely challenge you physically, so expect to have a real workout. 🙂

Adventure Tower

Choose from Avatar One(Asia’s first roller coaster zipline), Wall Climbing, Rapelling, Free Fall and climb up this 15-meter Adventure Tower which also provide the best views within and around Alviera.

ATV Ride

Drive your way around Alviera and go through rough and plain terrains, rivers, mountains, and forests.

The Giant Swing

This activity is for the brave heart only. This giant swing is 10-meters high and is considered the country’s tallest swing. Riders will definitely have an exhilarating swing up and back. Since I’m afraid of heights, this ride is definitely not for me. 🙂

Playground & Mini Golf

For guest who are not up to heavy, daring challenging activities, they can enjoy the Mini Golf or play with their kids at the children’s playground.

More attractions are set to open this year such as Urban Karting, Airsoft, and paintball. SandBox At Alviera also will extend it’s operating hours until night time so guests will have plenty of time to do and enjoy the different outdoor activities inside SandBox.
