Maybe you’ve been thinking of a quick getaway or maybe to where you should spend one of your vacations this summer season. Well, you might consider going to Aquaria Beach Resort in Calatagan Batangas which is just about 3-hours ride away from the metro. If you love dipping into the pool and swimming to the beach, then this place is for you.
Aquaria Beach Resort is a water park managed by Fuego Hotels & Properties and developed by Landco Pacific Corp. with a 525 meters of fine beach stretch along the Playa Calatagan Residences at Calatagan, Batangas.
I haven’t been to any summer destination this year, so I decided to join a group of bloggers to experience Aquaria Beach Resort for a day. 🙂
When we arrived at Aquaria Beach Resort, we were welcomed by their friendly staff and gave us welcome drinks and cold wet towel. Just perfect for a very sunny and hot weather that day.
The tour started from the resort’s lobby, where we were oriented about the rules and regulations, rates, and amenities that Aquaria Beach Resort is offering. By the way, here are the rates (entrance fee, Cabana/cottages) for your guidance.
P500 / adult & P250 / child on weekdays. With free usage of the swimming facilities for the entire day.
P700 / adult & P350 / child on weekends. With free usage of the swimming facilities for the entire day.
Cabanas(cottages) are also available to give Aquaria’s guests a place to put their things and rest after their swimming activities.
As for the moment, Aquaria Beach Resort is not offering overnight accommodations. So it is really good for those who want a day out or those who want to experience Aquaria Beach Resort.
If you need a place inside Aquaria where you can rinse off before and after you swim, change clothes, put your things(if you are a backpacker), have your retouch and other bathroom routines, you must go to Aquaria’s Bath House. I must say, this place is pretty impressive. It’s like you are inside a spa. That’s the kind of ambiance that I got when I entered the Bath House.
Travelling is best paired with food. If you don’t have time to prepare your food before going to Aquaria, then you can order and can try the food of resort’s The Sands restaurant where you can enjoy great selection of local cuisines and fresh seafood dishes.
You can also bring your own food for a different kind of picnic experience on the beach with a corkage fee of P100 / adult & P50 / child.
LET’S SWIM!!!!
There are two pools available at the resort. Be reminded that the resort is very strict with the dress code when you are using their pools. Rashguards, swimsuits, swimming trunks, beach shorts are only allowed.
The kiddie pool.
The Adult Pool.
In the Adult pool you will see a giant slide which is about 40-feet high. Never miss the chance of trying it. It would be fun!. Look what Me and Rey of Lifestylebucket.com did! We did it about 4 times. hahaha! It was really a fun exerience.
If you are tired swimming to the pool and want to swim on a different environment then just walk a few meters and experience Aquaria’s beach.
You don’t have to worry when you are swimming at the beach because there’s a lifeguard always on watch.
There are a lot of things that you can do there in Aquaria’s beach like the following:
Picnic at the Beach
Beach Volleyball/Soccer(Rental –P50 per hour)
Massage(available occasionally)
Kayaking(Kayak – 250 single / 400 double per hour)
Riding a Jet ski(Jet ski – 3500/15 mins)
Banana Boat Ride(Banana boat – 1500 for 15 minutes (5 pax))
Henna Tattoo
Of course with this natural beauty of the beach, I would not miss having my pictures taken. Click… Click… Click… the camera says.
At the end of your day in Aquaria, you can watch the calm and relaxing view of the sunset which will be added to your good memories of Aquaria Beach Resort.
Truly, I had a great experience at Aquaia Beach Resort. Relaxation and fun at its finest. One of the best place near the metro to unwind, relax with your family, friends and even if you are alone. If I could stay much longer, I would. Thanks Aquaria Beach Resort!.
