For all southeners and nearby places, there’s a new place to chill and hang out with your friends and family as Filinvest, a known real estate company, officially opened its own lifemall (similar to Festival Mall in Alabang) along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay City… The Fora Mall.

WHAT IS A LIFEMALL?

Fora Mall is part of the Fora Tagaytay mixed-use development by Filinvest. Soon there will be two eight-story condominiums, and two 10-storey condotels with amazing amenities to be operated by Filinvest Hotels Inc. through the Quest Hotel brand.

The development will also feature a forest-themed garden around the amphitheater which can be a suitable place for special events.

Speaking of events, Fora Mall officially opened its doors to public where FDC president and chief executive officer Josephine Gotianun-Yap were present, alongside with Tagaytay City local government officials, other welcoming FDC officers, media, bloggers.

During the launch, a special display of pure art, skills were featured like John Ablaza’s Le Petit Coutoure Collection.

The collection is composed of 13 special gowns measuring 18 inches (miniature versions of his gown collections), all meticulously hand-made, and each named after a woman who has made a difference in Abalaza’s life.

Another featured work during the launch, multi-awarded artist Pancho Piano who created ”Paint a SILYA”(Sa lyo Loto at Lola, Yantok ming Alay). These rocking chairs will be placed on some areas within the mall to be used by elderly. Amazing artwork on a chair.

And just in time for the holiday season was Fora Mall’s Christmas Lighting ceremony.

Fora Mall houses a lot of establishments like Super Metro Hypermarket of the Metro Retail Stores Group Inc. (MRSGI), the country’s first ever 24-hour hypermarket. Complementary Suisse Cottage bakeshop, a bills payment center, and foreign exchange Center.

There’s also four state of the art digital cinemas, which occupies an area of over 2,000 sq. meters, with 200 reclinable seats per cinema and an impressive Dolby Digital surround sound system. This is to guaranty and provide cool entertainment experience for every viewer.
