- Apply it on your face and wash it off after 5 minutes.
2. OATMEAL: Can absorb oil and soothe the skin.
- Mix 1 tsp honey and 1/2 lemon juice in a cup of cooked oatmeal.
- Rub this mixture all over your face.
- Leave it on for 30 mins. and rinse it off with lukewarm water.
- do this once or twice a week.
3. STEAM: The steam will open your pores and allow your skin to breathe. Steaming can also help get rid of oils, dirt and bacteria trapped in the pores which causes infection or inflammation.
- Fill a large container with hot water and allow the steam to come in contact with your face for a few minutes.
- Rinse your face with lukewarm water and, after drying. You can use a face moisturizer aferwards.
4. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR: It kills off the bacteria that causes bacteria by turning your facial Ph to alkaline making it harder for the bacteria to thrive.
- Wash your face with water and pat dry.
- Using a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water, dip a cotton ball into vinegar and apply it directly to the blemish.
- Leave on for at least 10 minutes, or overnight.
- Re-apply several times a day, washing face thoroughly after each time.
- Use a moisturizer afterwards.
5. BANANA PEEL: It contains lutein, an extremely powerful antioxidant that reduces swelling and inflammation, and encourages healthy cell growth.
- Peel your banana and eat it- it’s not cool to waste, and they’re good for you.
- Take the peel, and rub in a circular motion all over your face.
- When you feel as though you’ve covered all of your face, let it sit for at least 30 minutes before rinsing it off.
