After wearing makeup and being exposed to dirt, smoke, and other external impurities, our face badly needs some cleansing and pampering. I usually wash my face with mild cleansers(different brands actually) but i’ve been thinking… is it enough to cleanse my face thoroughly? or peel of those dead skin cells.
Just recently, I got a package from Althea Korea containing their latest product under the Althea product line which is the Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask. This product has active ingredients such as AHA & BHA which promises to help peel off dead skin cells for smoother skin. It also contains Casein Protein (milk) to provide moisture and help the skin to stay moisturised all day. Plus it is cruelty-free.

As always, Althea comes up with a minimalist and neat-looking packaging from the box to actual product. Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask is not exempted to that. Now Althea chose baby blue and white color for its bottle/cap.
It uses a pump dispenser which i like because it will control the amount of product to be expelled from the bottle.
- Apply the product on damp skin and massage it gently until it becomes bubbly. Expect it to bubble up quickly as you spread it on your face.
- Let it rest on your skin for 30-60 seconds before rinsing it off with warm water. As you wait, you will feel some tickling sensation coming from the bubble, as if the product is giving your face micro massages. I LOVE THE FEELING!

I never imagined that face cleansing could be this fun. It’s is not a usual cleanser. I totally enjoyed using this product. At first I thought it would make my skin dry, but it is just the BHA and AHA working as it removes the dead skin cells. The Casein Protein (milk) however does its wonders leaving my skin feeling moisturized.
I have yet to explore what else Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask can do to my skin, but so far so good. It’s a good thing as well that i’m not allergic to it or my skin did not react negatively in any way. Would I recommend this product? definitely!
