We were scheduled today for a sponsored trip to the “Strawberry Farms” in La Trinidad Benguet care of Azalea Residences Baguio. Believe it or not, strawberry picking is on my bucket list 🙂 that is why I’m so thrilled when Sir Vincent of Azalea Residences Baguio informed us that we are going there. YAY! 🙂 I really can’t hide my excitement because it has been my childhood dream to do strawberry picking.
Strawberry Farm is located in La Trinidad Valley, Benguet, which is less than 10km from the center of Baguio City. Strawberry Farm is 30-minute ride from Baguio City.
As I look around the farm, it’s not just strawberries that are planted. I saw lettuce, brocholi and cabbage and they are also selling it. They also practice multi-cropping.
It is a very unique experience for the whole family, because you get to pick fresh strawberries straight from the plant. By the way, just want to remind you to be very careful when walking along the pathway beacuse its kinda narrow. you would easily go out of balance if you will not observe proper caution.
The rates for strawberry picking vary depending on the season. But usually it costs twice or even thrice the market price. In our case, we were charged Php300/kilo + the strawberry picking experience. They will also provide baskets for you to put the strawberries you’ve picked.

I’ve been to Baguio and La Trinidad may times but I have never set foot on the Strawberry Farm. This time I did. Bucket list granted. Thanks Azalea Residences Baguio for making my dream possible.
