Skylight Films together with Star Cinema comes up with another horror movie after the success of Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang entitled “Amorosa: The Revenge.
Synopsis:
The movie is about choices people make and the consequences they must live afterwards. Following a vehicular that ripped her family apart, Rosa(portrayed by Angel Aquino), decides she needs a fresh start. She and her two sons Amiel(played by Martin del Rosario) andRommel(played byEnrique Gil) decide to manage an old pension house. Rosa hopes the change of scenery will bring them some much needed peace of mind and heal the rift that formed between her and son Rommel after the incident. She also wants to be rid of the hallucinations caused by post-traumatic stress disorder she suffered from the accident.
However, Rosa soon realizes that her hallucinations are actually being caused by a faceless ghost that haunts her every waking moment and also visits her in her nightmares. To banish the ghost and en the haunting, Rosa desperately tries to find out why she is being targeted. Eventually, she discovers the ghost was a victim of an unspeakable crime –and one that her son is threatening to commit. To save her son and also to free herself from the ghost clutches, Rosa must force herself to confront the truth about the incident that claimed her husband’s life— a truth that she has been running from since the tragedy.
Amorosa: The Revenge is directed by Topel Lee under Star Cinema and Skylight Films. Starring Angel Aquino, Empress Schuck, Martin del Rosario, Carlo Aquino, Ejay Falcon, and Jane Oineza. Also starring, Franco Daza, Nico Antonio, Jarius Aquino, Mosang, Richard Quan, with psecial participation of Xyriel Manabat.
